Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bessie is a 7 1/2 month old, Basset / Dachshund X. She is chunky like both breeds can be at 33 lbs.
Bessie came from a pound, can't imagine why she was dumped there. She is such a love bug. She loves people does well with other dogs and likes to tell cats off. Bessie loves snuggling with you while you veg in front of the TV, or is just as happy to be running along side of you while you are taking a walk. She runs while you walk because of her short little legs.
The perfect home for Bessie would be a home that she is not left alone for long periods of time. She is very social and would becomes very sad. She will have to be allowed to sleep in bed with you, she will be your little heater and you hers.
If you think you can be Bessie's best friend, come meet this awesome little girl, you will melt.
Bessie is microchipped, spayed & up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueAhart.org if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!
