Lulu's Story...
This adorable little lady is Lulu, a 7 year old chihuahua that came to us from NC with 24 of her friends when they were taken from a hoarding situation. Little Miss Lulu is such a special girl.....she had a stroke at some point in her life and has a tendency to run sideways occasionally, and also scratch her self every so often. None of this phases her or causes her any harm or pain, it just adds to her lively little personality. Lulu is a bit shy upon meeting people but makes friends quickly. She is super sweet and lovable, and would love a quiet home where she could spend her days snoozing on a comfy couch and snuggling with someone that loves her. Lulu gets along well with other dogs but would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 12. This precious little lady is so deserving of a fresh start in life....please make her dreams come true! 10/12/12 File#21968

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Forked River Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
