Sheila's Story...
This beautiful lady is Sheila, a 6 1/2 year old rotti/shepherd mix that came to us way back in July of 06' from down south. Sheila was adopted out back then, but was returned. She has bounced around to 3 different homes since then and is back again, through no fault of her own. This time, the owner stated he simply could not keep her. This poor girl will just break your heart. She's a bit shy upon meeting people but when she gets to know you, she'll just lean against you and bow her head. She is just so soulful and gentle...you can't help but to love her. Sheila gets along well with children, other dogs and cats too. She is extremely well behaved and walks perfectly on a leash. Sheila just adores people, and all she is asking for is a loving home where she will be cared for the way she deserves to be, and never given up on again. Please make Sheila's dreams come true. 7/23/12 File#21742

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheila, a Forked River Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
