My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Conan, our newest rescue from St. Louis! We were lucky to snatch him up from a local shelter in the nick of time. This handsome devil is a big lover and took to his foster family immediately. If you're looking for a friend to curl up on the couch with, you do not have to ask him twice. We are working on crate training (he has gotten really good!) and he gets so excited when people come home that his whole body wags with his tail! There haven't been any accidents at his foster family as he is potty trained and around 2 years old (there is plenty of puppy left in him.) Conan currently lives with 3 girls who are 9, 10 and 10 & a male pit bull (they have become the best of buds.) He loves to play with everyone and you will often find him flopped over on his back looking for a good ol' belly scratchin'. Conan is an athletic guy (he can really jump) and would love to have some space to run around. He can almost walk on his hind legs and is very curious. His foster family tells of him greeting them at the door and walking next to them trying to figure out what they might have for him! He loves to be outside but is just as comfortable laying on the hearth in front of the fire. While he does not bark all of the time, when Conan gets excited he can be pretty vocal. He loves to howl with his foster dad egging him on. The perfect home for Conan would be one with some room to run around and a family with the energy to keep up with his love to play. He is great with other dogs, especially if they want to play as much as he does. With Conan's ability to jump and walk on his hind legs, he brings a unique sense of fun and entertainment to any home. Conan is one of the smilin-est dogs you will ever meet and if you give him a chance he will edge his way into your heart, one lick at a time!
