Our little lady Nellie is a chihuahua that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a wonderful home. Nellie is about 8 or 9 years old and most likely never had a good home. She was picked up as a stray and was in poor condition. Poor Nellie had to have some teeth extracted, was underweight, and was coughing and sneezing. Once we got her the good medical care she needed, Nellie bounced back and is now happy, healthy, and ready to be a part of a loving family. Nellie has some cataracts but she gets around perfectly fine. She is very well behaved and is just an all around great girl. Nellie is known to bury herself deep within a pile of blankets so she will require a nice, fluffy bed in her new home, but other than that, Nellie is very low maintenance. She just wants to be loved and cared for forever. Please consider opening your heart and home to our Nellie. 12/7/12 File#22127
