Avery's Story...
This beautiful young lady is Avery, a German shepherd mix that is about two years old. Avery came to us with several of her friends from Georgia in search of a good home and we are so happy to have this bundle of fun! She is such a silly girl that loves to play and goof around. Avery is curious, energetic and fun loving and would like a home with a nice yard to get her exercise in. She is well behaved and has had some training, and will sit nicely when asked. Avery gets along good with other dogs and loves people of all ages. If you are looking for a loving, loyal companion, that would be our Avery. Be kind to her and show her you care, and she'll be your best friend for life. 1/20/13 File#22236

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Avery, a Forked River German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Forked River, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
