I'M A BIG BOY AT 80LBS A FULL AMERICAN PIT BULL, BUT DON'T WORRY I DON'T BITE I'M A BIG LOVER AND MY FAVORITE PASS TIME IS LAYING DOWN WITH MY HUMAN COMPANION.
I'VE HAD A BIT OF A ROUGH LIFE, I WAS A STRAY AND FOLLOWED MY NOW FOSTER FAMILY HOME. THEY HAD TO BRING ME TO THE SHELTER FIRST AND HOPED I'D GET ADOPTED BUT THAT WASN'T THE CASE. I HAD SOME MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS AND I WAS IN TROUBLE. SO EVERYONE GOT TOGETHER AND RESCUED ME I HAD GALL BLADDER STONES REMOVED IT WAS MAJOR SURGERY BUT THAT'S SEEMS TO BE ALL BETTER NOW. I THEN WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HEART WORM MY TREATMENT BEGINS JANUARY 28TH AND I NEED TO BE IN A LOW ENERGY HOME FOR AT LEAST 3 MONTHS UNTIL I'M HEART WORM FREE AND HEALTHY.
I'M ALSO ON A SPECIAL DIET DUE TO A UTI THAT WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED. I HOPE ALL OF THIS WILL NOT STOP YOUR INTEREST IN POSSIBLY ADOPTING ME. I WILL BE HEALTHY AGAIN, WE ALL RUN THROUGH TOUGH TIMES AND IT'S NOT MY FAULT MY OWNERS DIDN'T CARE FOR ME PROPERLY.
I FEEL I DESERVE A LONG LIFE OF HAPPINESS AND LOTS OF TLC I'M CERTAIN YOU AGREE. WOULD YOU BE KIND ENOUGH TO GIVE ME THE LOVING FAMILY THAT I'VE BEEN WANTING ALL OF MY 5 YEARS OF LIFE? I PRAY YOU ARE OUT THERE BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO BE LOVED.
I'M GOOD WITH OLDER RESPECTABLE CHILDREN, I'M A BIG BOY SO CHILDREN 7 AND UP WOULD BE BEST.

They are the most loving dog around, we are hear to show the world the truth regarding the Pit Bulls breeds.

We have an application process which can be found on our website.
Once we assess the application if all goes well then we set up a home check.
If this goes well then we have an adoption agreement form that must be read, signed, and complied.
Passion for Pitties is located in southern San Diego. We will adopt our pets in Orange County.
We began as an advocate group, there is much more than education needed here...we all KNOW what we are suppose to do but people do not do as they should in many circumstances.
We want to see this loving breed all live their days in forever loving homes and never wind up abused, fought, thrown away, dumped in shelters, etc.
So many innocent beautiful, sweet lives are lost due to lack of care and neglect and abuse. We want this to stop.
We are pro spay & neuter to assist in prevention of over population.
