Twinky's Story...
TWINKY IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE WWW.MOMSRESCUEVA.ORG

Hi! My name is Twinky and I am a nine year old cocker spaniel. I am a very very good girl. I love living with my foster dogs. I love giving kisses and being loved on. My favorite things to do are chew on bones, getting hugs, and laying in the sun. Many people tell me that I am the full package - I listen, I am good, and I like to please my people. I like to play frisbee with my family. I am gentle and kind. I just got spayed and had some mammary gland tumors removed. My doctor said that I was a good girl, but he is not sure if the tumors will come back. All I want is to be part of a forever home. I would love to be a part of your family. I know that we would have a great time being together. Hugs and kisses!! Twinky Please fill out an application for me by visiting www.momsrescueva.org. I can't wait to be a part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twinky, a Richmond Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
