Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calling all dog lovers! Have we got an amazing dog for you…. Meet Turbo.
This adorable Bulldog/Shepherd mix is no ordinary dog. He is special times ten! Dumped at the shelter by a family who no longer wanted him, this stunning boy sat in a cell for six long months. With each passing day, he grew more and more sad and frustrated. When we heard he was being put down in a matter of hours, we quickly sent our volunteer to the shelter to meet him. When Turbo came up to our volunteer, he looked at her and barked a friendly, “Hello!” He was filled with love and comedy, all the while having one ear up and one ear down. It was so adorable.
We rescued him that day and Turbo never looked back. Turbo is a quiet, respectful dog who loves to play or go on a long walk, hike or jog. He is very active. Turbo is currently living with our trainer who is putting him through “doggy bootcamp.” With all his pent up energy from the shelter and the fact he is so young – barely a year old – we felt Turbo needed some general guidance. It is working! Turbo is a star student and is learning how to be part of a pack/family with lots of structure and positive influence. Our trainer’s wife says that Turbo is a sweetheart who would do anything for his family – he is so dedicated and willing to learn! Our amazing trainer loves him so much that he is offering free lifetime training for turbo!
Turbo is housebroken and likes other dogs, but needs to understand there is a time for play and a time to relax. He even has a doggie BFF! We aren’t sure how he is with cats. We believe with all the training, stability, and love Turbo has received so far, he will bring all that and more to his new, forever family. Ask to meet Turbo today because he definitely wants to meet you!
