T-Rex's Story...
T Rex is an adorable Chihuahua/Terrier mix who has huge ears and a huge heart, he loves to cuddle and play. A tiny little fella at only ten pounds, he would be a perfect companion for another playful dog as he loves toys and romps. When Rex is worn out, he wants to cuddle up in your lap and loves to burrow under the covers at night. He is still a puppy at only eight months and full of puppy fun (he chases his tail) but he is pretty much housetrained, cage trained, knows some basic commands and walks on a leash. He loves the other dogs in the household and tolerates the cat. Rex can be a little shy in strange situations, but warms up quickly to people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

T-Rex, a Overland Park Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
