Petey's Story...
Petey, the Spaniel mix, is a fabulous little dog. He is a little cutie who loves to play with other dogs. He loves people and adores getting some belly rubs and loving after playing with his foster sister. Petey was brought to the shelter as a stray but has settled in perfectly at his foster home. Petey is about 2 years old and weighs 18 pounds. He has a wonderful personality and is a happy, friendly little dog. He enjoys and would benefit from going on a daily walk. Some time at a dog park would also be a great treat for him. He would make a great traveling companion and would love to see the sights and sounds with his very own family. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Dallas Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese breeders who help with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
