Izzie's Story...
Izzie is a sweet, gentle, quiet and loving little pup in need of a forever hom. Izzie is 13 weeks old now and ready to begin her new life. She was rescued from a kill-shelter in Kentucky with his mother, Ida, and her two siblings. Ida is a Retriever/Husky mix and we were told the father was a Great Pyr. Izzie is a very happy and friendly puppy that will do well in almost any home. She's quite the looker and gets compliments everywhere she goes. She loves people, children and other dogs. She has been working on her housetraining and crate training and is doing excellent. She's looking forward to meeting her forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzie, a Chicago Husky/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Golden Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Husky/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
