My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Molly: 3-4 yr old female calico Maine Coon

This is her shelter photo. She is so gorgeous even miserable in the shelter she looked great., She is a big , exuberantly colored red, white and black haired girl. Her fur is super soft and thick. She had no matts when she arrived after a month in a shelter so I would guess that she has fur she can keep trouble free. She was brought in "stray" probably her family couldn't keep her anymore and brought her in anonymously..She is in good health and good shape and had been previously spayed. And yes, she could stand to lose a few ounces.

You know calicos- they are full of zip and have lots of opinions and intelligence and are usually alpha cats. This is all true of Molly.
She is full of life and fun. She loves attention and wants to be involved in whatever you are doing. She will follow you around and help you with your chores. Watch TV with you on the sofa with her soft , warm body. She would be happy to be an only cat but would probably accept a companion who was willing to let her be the boss. I haven't seen her with dogs but I would guess she could handle them easily enough.

Her first day with us she was in her quarantine room - all cats must be quarantined after a stay in the shelter- and right away she said "Hey I am ready to come out and be with you. Come on let me out.
It is enough that I was in the shelter". She is out now and we are happy for her. It seemed like a long two weeks for her to wait. Now she is ready for a new home and new life and new human to love and delight.

She is young, healthy, beautiful and loving. Someone will have a wonderful companion.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

More photos soon.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
