Felicity's Story...
Just out barely out of kittenhood herself (about 1 yr old), Felicity and her two kittens (Harmony & Zephr) arrived at a So. VA shelter. She was originally taken in by a good samaritan who had hoped to find them homes on her own but was unsuccessful. Felicity is all you could want in a feline companion. She is affectionate, gently playful, curious and a delight to look at! Felicity enjoys the company of other cats and is seeking a home with one of of her 6 mos old kittens or another young cat already in your care. Meet her in Burke, VA

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.

All of our cats are in private foster homes; therefore, we require an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them; an application can be e-mailed, faxed or mailed upon request. Adopters must be within a reasonible driving distance to No. VA as we do not ship our animals; we participate in an adoption event held in Wash. DC most Sundays in conjunction with other rescuers. Please e-mail us for specifics.

We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter); home visits are required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home.

Northern Virginia/DC/MD; will consider nearby out of area adoptions if adopter is willing to travel to meet us and we are able to enlist the help of a rescue partner for the required homevisit..
