Hi Everyone,
My name is Tommy and I’m a loving, gentle, graceful, athletic and good natured puppy eight months young. My foster Mom and Dad agree that I’m 12 pounds of love, with “champagne” colored ears and a happy smile – a little guy who likes other dogs and children!
Mom says that I am as sweet as can be and a real cuddle bug. Silly Mom, I’m not a bug at all, I’m a furkid! I love big people and little people -- and am especially gentle with kids. While I can sometimes be a bit shy at first, it doesn’t take me long before I’m ready to cuddle and play. Dad says I’m a diamond in the rough and am a little guy with great potential! (Thanks, Dad!)
My doggy foster brother is teaching me lots of things and we have lots of fun together! He has taught me how to play ‘race to the finish’ and ‘fetch the tennis ball.’ There is no doubt that he’s a good teacher and I’m a good ‘learner,’
Mom says I’m really smart. I’ve mastered housebreaking (I go to the back door and ask to go out!) know some commands, like my walks and ride quietly in the car. At night, when all the excitement and fun of the day is over, I curl up and sleep quietly nearby in my bed on top of the hope chest, close to Dad and Mom.
Mom and Dad think I would do great in any family situation. I would especially love it if there were kids and a furkid to play with. Oh and they want you to know that while I like to be near them, I’m also respectful of when they need to do something that doesn’t include me. So I just lie quietly where I can see them and wait to be asked to join.
