Gepetto's Story...
Hi! My name is Gepetto. I am a 3 1/2 year old black and white domestic long hair kitty. My previous guardians surrendered me because they moved to a place that didn't allow cats. So, I am patiently awaiting my furever home. I'm a big boy who is very affectionate and full of love. I'm not too keen on being picked up or held, but I LOVE laps!!! As soon as volunteers sit down, I'm on their lap ASAP. I can guarantee you that I will keep your lap toasty warm during the cold nights of winter. Other cats make me a little nervous, so I usually grumble at them. I would prefer that my furever home keep me as the center of attention! I'm already neutered, parasite-free, current on my vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. If you are interested in meeting me, please call Donna at (201) 873-7533 or email startkayne@aol.com to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gepetto, a Elmwood Park Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
