This special girl is Kahlua; she is as beautiful as her name! She is a very spry 12 yr old shepherd/sharpei mix. She plays with toys with the joy of a puppy and loves to be near her family. Kahlua loves to give kisses because she is very appreciative of everything! She was owner-surrendered due to asthma in their small child. Kahlua has allergies which have caused recurrent ear infections throughout her life. As a result, she has severe loss of hearing. She is currently being tested for her allergies with the hope that a consistent allergy vaccine regimen will keep her healthy. Kahlua is a great playmate and would prefer her forever home to have at least one other dog or an owner who is home most of the time. She loves to ride in the car and often goes on errands with her foster family. She is spayed, house-trained and gentle with children and dogs. Kahlua would make a great addition to any family looking for a calm and loving companion.
