Bear - Adoption Pending!'s Story...
ADOPTION PENDING! Meet Bear! He is a 78-lb, 3 year old, housetrained, medium build who is an Australian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler cross with medium length hair. We have had Bear neutered, dewormed and given him ALL vaccinations and flea prevention. Bear has been with his owner since he was a puppy, but they are finding it difficult to give him the time and attention that they know he deserves and would like us to find him a forever, loving home. He can be okay with other dogs if socialized correctly. He has a medium activity level and has no experience with children, but older kids and teens should be fine. No cats please as he is too playful with them. Like many good Rottie crosses, he is a little timid at first around strangers but once comfortable, he is very affectionate. He is a very smart dog and loves to play; he loves all of his toys! Bear has loads of love to give and he has that ‘dog’s intuition’ in that he knows how you are feeling and is able to comfort you. He will make his new family a GREAT companion!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear - Adoption Pending!, a Emsdale (Huntsville) Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Emsdale (Huntsville), or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Emsdale (Huntsville).

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emsdale (Huntsville) already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emsdale (Huntsville) breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emsdale (Huntsville) paves the way for another one to be saved.
