Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi Everybody!
My name is Ricky and I’m a cute Bichon boy of about one or two who weighs all of 10 lbs. I’m a very handsome and cuddly little guy who is as sweet as can be, has big black eyes and a very happy smile. My ‘aunties’ at Bichon FurKids say my middle name should be ‘Mr. Adorable’ (Can you tell they like me a lot?)
My foster Mom calls me “Super Glue” because I bonded with her in about two seconds. She says I am very friendly and approach everyone with gentleness – followed by doggy kisses. (Mom says I give the bestest kisses!) I’m a notorious hugger who loves to be held and cuddled. I’m also instinctively well-mannered and great with children, especially the little ones. I’m also good with the big ones called adults, too!
There is no doubt that I’m a real love bug. I love to ride in the car (I sit quietly in the doggy car seat, then curl up and take a nap), and to snuggle. And I love to go on walks and then snuggle. I also love run in the yard, take naps, sit on laps, and watch for any chance at a belly rub.
I am crate trained and house-trained and guess what? Mom says I’ve already learned some commands. Why I even come when my name is called (well, most of the time that is)’ I’m so smart that there are a lot more commands that Mom is going to teach me.
I’m eager to please and fit in! But I'm not just a couch potato. I also like to play! Did I mention that I love my toy stuffed bone? It may be the very first toy I’ve ever had but I’ll tell you what – it’s the best! I’ve learned to make it ’talk’ (Mom calls it a squeak) but I never, ever overdo it! I do like to carry my bone around the house. You see it’s very soft! And I’m learning to play fetch and will bring it back to you if you throw it for me.
My doggy foster sisters and brother say I’m friendly, lovable, playful and affectionate. (That's me on the left!) In other words I’m a delightful bichon boy!
If I sound like the kind of fur kid you are looking for, and you have another furkid or two and a peaceful home, please complete our application. I’ll be waiting to meet you.
Tail wags and doggy kisses,
Remarkable and Receptive Ricky A (for Adorable)
