Casper is a great cat that was saved at the 11th hour from being killed at California City Shelter, near Los Angeles. He loves to roll over on his back and smile at you. He also just likes to be with you.
Casper is a great communicator and sends all kind of signals when he wants attention and doesn't want attention. He is very intelligent and could probably be taught to fetch.
Casper can be a giant marshmellow that wants to be held on your lap while you are trying to type on the computer. He just jumps on the desk, works his way in, curls up and goes to sleep purring the whole time.
The next time you pick him up Casper can be giving little love bites to tell you he does NOT want whatever you are doing to happen. He won't break the skin but he is telling you, "NO".
Casper would be best in a home who wants a cat with a strong personality, he is definitely an alpha cat. He can be the only cat or he can be friends with a non-alpha cat or "cat friendly" dog.
At the moment he is causing havock in my home since I have three cats that want to be the "alpha" cat. Casper is by far the most adoptable so I really want him to get his own home.
I also think a home without small children would be best because he definitely has a mind of his own and can't be hugged by someone if he doesn't want to be hugged.
Casper has one blue eye and one green eye and is very pretty, or I should say handsome. My vet says only 1 out of 60,000 cats have two different colored eyes.
Casper has no bad habits, uses litter box and scratches on his cat tree. He is negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed, neutered and has a microchip for ID purposes.
