Ruff Ruff! My name is Chloe
|Breed:||German Shepherd Dog||Color:||Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)||Sex:||Female|
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Chloe is around 1 yr old and was rescued from an opened field to scared to come anywhere near people, but a dedicated group of people were able to catch her. She has been in foster care for months now and is ready for her very own home. Chloe will need a home that is peaceful and has another male dog for her to play with. She just loves dogs to run with, share toys, and lay on a dog bed with. She is also really good with kitties as her foster home has 3 of them. She would not do well in a home with children as she is a timid girl and afraid of sudden movements or loud noises. Since Chloe’s tail was docked when she wags her tail her whole body wags as she really is a very happy girl with the people she feels safe with. She is a very sweet, loving, affectionate, playful girl that enjoys just about anything as long as she is with the person that encourages her. Chloe’s adoption will be one with many visits with her new family instead of just moving her from home to home so she has time to adjust to her new family. If you are that very special person we welcome your application.

Adopting a German Shepherd Rescue of the Rockies Dog
We would like to thank you for visiting our website and considering one of our adoptable dogs to become your new family member. All of our dogs have been tossed aside for various reasons and our goal is to find them one last home where they can live out the rest of their lives with love and happiness. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we hope to be able to rescue many dogs every year. We place our dogs in a daycare facility so we can observe their social behavior and then into a foster home to learn house manners and teach them basic obedience. After we get to know our dogs we interview each candidate to find the right home that will fit each dog’s personality and needs. We will provide the necessary vet care, bring them up-to-date on vaccinations as well as spay or neuter our dogs. We will work with our rescue dogs that need a little help to trust and love people again, meanwhile improving their social behavior. We will stay involved and be there for each adopted dog for the duration of its life.
The adoption fee for our dogs is $300, which includes a veterinary heath examination, up-to-date vaccinations, a micro-chip, dogs will be spayed or neutered, they will come with a dog collar, and ID tag. Senior dog adoption fees will be posted separately for each dog.
If you see a dog on our website that you would like to meet, please fill out the Adoption Application and one of our volunteers will contact you.
