Chip's Story...
This quiet sweet boy was discarded at the Orange Animal shelter without an owner in sight. Chip is the perfect gentleman in his new foster home and gets along wonderfully with all the dogs, big or small. He walks like a show dog on leash and appears to have mastered his potty training skills. Chip is going to make a lucky family very happy! Chip is about 1 year old and weighs approx. 20 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Irvine Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Lhasa Apso for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Maltese/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
