Bowden's Story...
Bowden

Est. DOB: February 2, 2011
Description: DLH Flame Point Siamese Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $150.00

Bowden is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to be brushed and petted.

Bowden gets along with other cats, but would prefer to be in a home without dogs. He’s a quiet boy that would prefer a quiet home with lots of love and laps. Even though he is a few years old, he also still enjoys playing with toys.

Bowden is one of our “Showcase” cats whose slightly premium adoption fee helps offset the deficit in our medical fund and apply additional funds to the cats and kittens that need it most.

Bowden was found as a stray in a rural area of North Carolina.

Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowden, a Apex Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Apex, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
