Lola is a 4 yr. old stunning black and cream female German Shepherd. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.
Lola was owner surrendered into Rescue due to owners having issues with neighbors complaining about Lola’s fearful barking behavior. Lola is a bit shy at first but once she gains trust she is fine with everybody but prefers woman over men. This energetic girl loves to run and play so an active home would be beneficial. She is fine with other dogs but can play rough and can be annoying at times with her excessive herding drive when she plays with her foster brothers/sisters, therefore a dog check would need to be approved. Lola seems fine with other cats and small dogs but again a dog/cat check would need to be approved prior to adoption.
Lola would be better with older, mature children due to her skittishness. Her foster mom also reports that she has made strides in terms of food guarding issues and now she is trained to sit and wait before being fed. She is crate trained and loves car rides and walks fine on a leash but needs the aid of a training collar. She has had obedience training implemented in her past and knows her basic commands. This sweet girl has been a house dog her whole life, and is housebroken and also doesn’t mind her crate. An application needs to be completed prior to a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.
Adoption fees range from $100 - $450 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.
Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior before final adoption.
