Coral's Story...
Hey there! My name is Coral. I am a sassy little girl who loves attention! I start purring as soon as volunteers come close to my cage. When they spend time with me, I bask in all the love they give me. My nose is keen to the scent of wet food. As soon as someone opens the cabinet, I know to stick my paws out to get their attention. I don't want them to forget me (although, once you meet me, it's kinda hard to forget about me). I like to explore. There's so many nooks and crannies to investigate at the shelter, but my favorite exploratory object is the kitty condo and windows. I love to catch a nap in the sun and perch high where I have a better view of what's going on around me. My ideal furever home will shower me with love and spend lots of quality time with me. I am looking for a home where I can put down roots and not worry about being sent away to a shelter again!

Coral is current on her vaccinations, parasite-free, spayed, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. If you are interested in meeting Coral, please call Donna at (201) 873-7533 or email startkayne@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coral, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
