Hi People!
I’m Dougie a four year old Bichon mix who loves everything! And I want everyone to know it because Life is Good! I love my foster Mom! I love car rides! I love to walk! I love other dogs. And guess what? I love to play! Mom says I’m 15 pounds of love in the cutest of packages. (Can you tell she likes me?)
She also says that I am very charming and that I love to please. Mom says I give clues about what I need and she knows how to interpret those clues (Mom is really smart, too.) So when I want a belly rub, play time or to be held and cuddled Mom knows just what to do!
I’m a happy, healthy, exuberant little guy who appreciates life. I really, really like my toys especially the squeaky ones. I run from room to room showing off whichever toy I happen to grab. But you should know that my favorite toy is my bunny rabbit! I’ve had that little rabbit since I was a puppy. I like to chew his ears and make him squeak (and carry him around the house, of course!)
Besides being a playful guy, I’m housebroken (no typo there), in great health, am a good eater and great sleeper. Mom says I’m so good that I get to sleep in the big people’s bed! (I’m also crate trained but you know which I prefer!)
I would love to have my own family and a doggy brother or sister to play with. A person or two to snuggle with would be ‘heavenly’ but no young children, please. In return, I will do my best to keep everyone smiling, feeling important and loved. (That will be easy for me because whoever adopts me will be my whole world.)
So if you are looking for a best friend who will provide lots of playful moments and enjoys a good cuddle, then I am the dog for the job. And I am ready for my life’s next assignment.
