My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny: 1- 2 yr old female white mitted tortie Ragdoll

Bunny came to us as a 9- 10 month old kitten who had obviously had a hard start in life. She was angry at everyone, cats and humans alike.
I think she grew up in a home as a little baby girl kitten who never felt safe and secure so she lashed out at all who came near including the family's dog who may have terrorized her. Her style was " come closer I am so cute and lovely" Swat.!!! It really felt that she enticed you closer so she could hit you with her paw, claws out. Obviously the shelter could not put her up for adoption and she was at great risk. We gave her a place to be while she learned to relax in life and trust us. It took quite a while ,maybe three months, and many scratches as we fed her and reached near her until she started being nicer to us. We let her be with the tripod twins ( kittens ) and she learned from them and other kittens and cats how to be a happy kitten. So nice to see her play. Now she is a loving girl and only swatty maybe 2 or 3 % of the time. Soon she will stop that behavior altogether I would think. She needs a little more growing but she has become a nice, loving girl. It is time for her to be posted her on the web and go to her home.

Of course Bunny is gorgeous. She is just amazing to look at with her colors and intense blue eyes. Aston Martin, the beautiful bengal boy, has a crush on her. and she hangs out with him. Quite understandable.

I am looking for a home with no children or dogs but with good natured adult cats and maybe kittens for her company and a human or humans
who feel ready to watch her relax into their home. These are cat
experienced humans who will be loving and patient with her and can handle a swat or two. She will greatly reward their love.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. By the way she can be totally manipulated with Temptation treats. She loves them.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
