Brittany and Hooch's Story...
Brittney & Hooch need a new home due to a change in the financial situation of the owner. They have been together since Hooch was 6 months old, so we would like to find them a home together with a family with the resources to take care of 2 dogs. Brittney is 11 and Hooch is 5 years old. They have both been raised around children and are very socialized. They have been to the dog park on several occasions and they get along great with other dogs. Both dogs are in good health ,up-to-date on vaccines and are on regular preventatives. They are both crate-trained and house-trained with nice house manners. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brittany and Hooch, a Richmond Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
