Willow's Story...
Hello World,
My name is Willow and I am a darling and dainty bichon girl of about five. I’m a little femme fatale (I weigh only 11 pounds) who will be a wonderful addition to any family. My foster mom says that I fit in well with everyone and that I am very sweet and kind. While I enjoy the company of my doggy foster brother, I’d really prefer to just sit on your lap and be petted (and maybe even catch a few winks.)
My Aunties say I’m a terrific little girl who is very clever too. You see there was this day a little while ago when Mom was going to wash some clothes. She looked everywhere for me and was starting to wonder where I could be. Well, of course I knew where I was.! Finally Mom found me all curled up and smiling sweetly in the laundry basket. Since Mom is so smart she knew just what to do! She put my doggy bed in the basket and that became my ‘day nap’ place from that moment on!
Of course I'm housebroken (I never had even one accident), smart and eager to please! I love my walks and rides in the car. I love to give doggy kisses (gentle little licks) and I am very good at stealing hearts (I told Mom I’m a good girl and that I would never steal anything! She just smiles and pats my head.)
Mom says that I’m a treasure – and that I have the sweetest disposition in the world!!! And beautiful eyes that look clear into your soul and ask for love. So, if you are looking for a little love bug to share your home and lap, please complete an application and ask for little Willow. I’ll be waiting to meet you.
Tail wags and gentle kisses,
Winsome and Wonderful Willow

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
