Cheeto is a sweet, loving and quiet, 12-year-old, six-pound, male Chihuahua looking for a loving guardian.

Cheeto was given up by his family to Chicago Animal Care and Control when they could no longer care for him. He’s living in a foster home with other dogs and he’s fine with everyone. He just doesn’t like high energy big dogs when they get in his face.

Cheeto is healthy and has a good amount of energy. He loves to go for walks and snuggle with his favorite people … although it may take a week for his to warm up to a new family. He is crate-trained and housebroken.

Cheeto is de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. He had a full dental and only has a few teeth left. But, he eats just fine.
