My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People!
My name is Charlie and my Mom says I’m a perfect bichon boy. She says I’m a sweet, loving gentle, smart and inquisitive bichon boy of about seven or eight, weighing all of eleven pounds, and that I’m just as affectionate as I can be. (You see I have already worked my charm on her – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)
When I came to Mom’s house, I was a little afraid. You see my other Mom went away– and I didn’t know if anyone would love and take care of me like she did. My new Mom says, however, that I’m very easy to love! She and I have learned a lot together already and have become great friends. When her friends come over I’m happy to greet them. (I sniff them and say ‘Hi’ then stand still and let them pet and love me. I never act afraid ‘cause everyone is so nice!)
Mom says to tell you that I’m housebroken, never bark at strangers, am friendly and inquisitive. She says I like to explore, too! I also like to go on short walks and love rides in the car! I really missed them a lot. You see my other mom had become very frail and she couldn’t do those things with me anymore. She knew I had a lot of spirit and spunk and that it wasn’t fair for me to be confined to a house all the time. So I became a furkid and now I get to do all those things again! Lucky me!
My new Mom says I am eager to please and very smart. She says when I want her attention I just come over and stand in front of her – then she responds. Mom said I learned the layout of her house the very first day including using the doggy door.
I’m also a master cuddle bug and snuggler – and I’m so good that I get to sleep in the big people’s bed with Mom and my doggy foster sister. And sometimes I sleep on the dog bed. Mom says I’m very versatile.
The other thing you need to know is that I don’t see with my eyes – but I see with my heart. I cope very well with my other senses and respond to my name, follow Mom’s footsteps and just enjoy my life.
What I really need now is a forever family to call my own. Will you be the one for me? If you think you are, please complete our application so I can meet you soon.
Bichon waves and wags,
Captivating and Charming Charlie
