Tootsie's Story...
Meet Tootsie, which is short for Tootsie Roll Midgie, according to her foster dad :-) Tootsie is a sweet, tiny chocolate girl, who weighs only about 40 lbs at 1 year old. She will not get much bigger. We call her our little "pocket Lab" :-) Tootsie is the perfect size and activity level for someone who has always wanted a Labrador, but doesn't have a big back yard.

Tootsie is settling in at her new foster home, so we are getting to know more about her personality. We do know that she enjoys being around the other dogs in her foster home, she is house broken, well behaved and affectionate. Her foster Dad says that she can be summed up in one word - ADORABLE!!

As we learn more about Miss Tootsie Roll Midgie, we'll post updates here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
