Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the placement of this cat. We take no responsibility for the cat's health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Milo is a very handsome boy and has stunning blue eyes. Milo has a beautiful, soft coat and a long and bushy tail. He is a large cat, weighing a little over 14 pounds. He is very good about grooming himself, but does not particularly like to be brushed. But he will tolerate trimming his nails on his front paws. He loves to play with laser toys and also likes to watch animal shows on TV, especially Animal Planet as you can see in one of his photos. He is not much of a jumper or climber; the highest Milo will go is up on a chair or sofa; he spends most of his time on the floor. He is not a lap cat. He likes catnip, uses a scratching post and loves any kind of corrugated cardboard scratcher. He really is quite confident; a vet who once examined him said she's never met a cat who is so comfortable in his own skin. Milo seems to be in love with himself.

Milo's owners adopted him from a Sacramento shelter where he was turned in as a stray. He currently lives in a home with two other cats, BUT he is very dominant and does not like or get along with other felines. Therefore, in his new home, he MUST be the only cat in the house. There have been problems with Milo inappropriately urinating on furniture; his vet believes this is most likely due to his dominant behavior and that if he were an only cat, this marking would stop. Milo seems to be fine with older children. He is not fearful when people come into his house and will typically go up to them to be petted. Workmen have come into his home and Milo is very curious as to what they are doing – will snoop in their tool box and try to get into the area where they are working.

Milo has had bladder crystals in the past; he now is completely free of these, but to prevent their return, he must be on bladder health food for the rest of his life. He currently eats Hills Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Bladder Health Dry Food and Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Urinary SO Canned Cat food. Milo is neutered.
