Daryl's Story...
I'm Daryl! Aren't I so handsome?! I am about 2 years old as of April 2013. I was found wandering the streets. I am still a little nervous when I first meet you. I love to be pet though and spoken quietly to. I am affectionate and will purr when you pet me. Sometimes I get so excited to get attention that I will give you little love bites. The volunteers are working on holding me in a towel. I am okay with it, but still have a little ways to go to feel more comfortable being held. I need a quiet home with a patient person who will give me as much time to adjust that I need. I am such a sweet boy, and I have so much love to give. Please adopt me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daryl, a Middletown Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
