My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rascal. I will turn 3 on April 18th. I was adopted from Brew when I was 10 weeks old, and have been a GREAT addition to my family. Unfortunate they must move and are not able to bring me with them.

My name, Rascal, fits me well. My family always calls me "my little rascal. You see, I’m a bit food driven. If the garbage is not put up, the cabinet locked, or a chair in front of it, I’m in it. My family put a child proof lock on the cabinet door, but that was not Rascal proof enough. If there is something yummy in there I will find a way to get to it. I love to shadow my family in the kitchen as they prepare food, in hopes that they would drop something. They I didn't mind, they love my company. Oh and don't forget to keep all food out of my reach, and don't leave me alone for a second with any out. I can be rather quick to snatch it when there’s an opportunity. That also goes for toddlers walking around with food.

I love to play with my sister, we do everything together, sleep in the crate together. I know I will miss her. I would do well with another dog to play with, but am ok with all of the attention to myself (like not having to share the treats).

I am potty trained and know how to use a doggie door. I stand by the door when its closed or sometimes come all excited and let you know I have to go out. I am also crate trained and am in there only when my family is not home. I usually sleeps in the bedroom on my own bed. I sleep in late mostly. I don’t mind being crated at night, just be prepared for me to wake you up early if can't see you, wanting to eat.

I love walks and am very good in the car. I love kids and would love a fenced in yard. I get along well with dogs on my side of the fence. I don't think I have ever met a cat so not sure of that one. I have no problem going potty on a leash. I really am a very good dog! I love to be played with, be around people and will lay by you and watch tv. My family is so sad that they have to let me go, but they have no other choice. They pray I get the best forever home and loving family.
