Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is a sweet & happy 6 year old gal.
She came to us a bit overweight & with a bad ear infection. But that didn't slow her down. She loves to play, run or go on nice long walks. Because of her love of taking long walks it has helped in her weight loss. The ear infection is being treated as well.
She is good on her own in the house though we crate her at night & when gone for more than a few hours.
She is a litter box diver & will stop at nothing to get in them.
Penny is very gentle & gets along great with kids of all ages. She is one of the happiest beagles I've ever met. Always wanting to meet people & other dogs.
The only time we have heard her bark is when she is playing with one of her toys or raw hide bones & her bark is not very loud at all.
I think she may have been paper trained because a few times she has taken care of business on some papers laying on the floor in the basement. However, she doesn't have a problem with going outside in the yard or on walks. We are working on figuring out her routine.
She would love a family that takes long walks & can help her continue her weight loss.
