Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BamBam is a bouncy, sweet, loving and playful, three-year-old, 55-pound, fawn, male pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. He was one of 110 dogs rescued from a Mississippi farm. He has since been treated for heartworm, (spread by mosquitos), and Erlichia, (which is spread by ticks). He has recovered physically and has attended basic training. He knows the commands sit and down and takes treats gently from your hands. He adores people and is very playful. BamBam is short and squat with hilarious floppy ears - as if he were part Basset hound!? He walks nicely, right next to you on leash and is fine in the car. He’s a friendly, happy dog who is crate-trained and appears to be housebroken. He gets along with most dogs, but he does favor the females. BamBam loves to play ball and would do nicely in a home with older children who can play fetch with him and participate in his training. BamBam is now healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. He is being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois.
