RIO
1 yr old British Shorthair

Rio came to rescue very pregnant. She delivered one healthy baby almost immediately. When the shelter had 2 orphaned 4 week old kittens that needed to be bottle fed we gave them to Rio and she took them right in and started cleaning them and feeding them. She now had a happy brood of 3 and her baby would not be an only child.

Rio was a wonderful attentive mom and the kids are now weaned. Rio did her job of raising the kids and now it is time for her to live in the lap of luxury that she so deserves. And she really does want to live in your lap!

Rio is a super sweet and affectionate kitty and she loves to talk! Being held in your arms like a baby is one her favoritve things to do along with having her head scratched and tummy rubs. She is playful and curious and has a hearty appetite. Rio loves people especially ones that pay attention to her. She is outgoing and loving and looking for a home where she can get and give alot of love. Thanks to a generous grant, her adoption fee has been reduced to $125.
