My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Malora
8-9 month old Female Lynx Point Siamese Mix
Fostered in Davis

Malora came into the shelter in January as a stray and was on their euthanasia list. One of our volunteers was at the shelter to evaluate another cat when she saw Malora in her shelter cage. This pretty kitten had an eye infection, was very shy, and needed some serious help. Fortunately, our volunteer loves to step up and help this type of kitty, so she took her home and welcomed her into our rescue family.

Malora spent a few weeks in isolation and was seen and treated by our ophthalmology veterinary specialist. She has a clean bill of health now. The infection has cleared from her crystal sapphire blue eyes. She has the beautiful lynx markings, and her fur is so soft that petting her is like petting a bunny rabbit!
She is a sweet girl, still somewhat shy but full of life and fun. When she’s not playing or exploring, she likes to sleep in the large cat tree. When she’s in a sleepy mood, she loves to be held. When she is in your lap, she will purr and purr, soaking up attention and affection. But when she is busy, she is still difficult to touch and catch! She is getting better and more trusting with every passing day, but her new guardians will need to continue the process of socializing her. She loves to play with other cats and needs a companion kitty about her own age that she can chase, romp and bond with. She also loves her toys!

Malora will come to you tested, spayed, vaccinated, and litterbox perfect.
Malora is fostered in Davis.
