Ozzy - Loves Walks!'s Story...
Meet Ozzy! He is a STRIKING healthy, 4.5 year old, neutered, housetrained, 60 pound, medium build, Husky / Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) cross with medium length hair who is up-to-date on vaccines. Ozzy would be okay in a home with teens and older kids but would prefer no small children. He gets along well with cats but would do best as the only dog in the household. He can be shy around strangers but once he gets to know you he will make a GREAT companion! Ozzy really enjoys the outdoors when the weather is nice and LOVES his walks! He is a quiet dog with a low to medium activity level and his FAVOURITE place to be would be curled up beside you. Do you feel like something is missing from your life? Perhaps a loyal, furry friend? Well, Ozzy is patiently for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzy - Loves Walks!, a Emsdale (Huntsville) Husky/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Emsdale (Huntsville), or seeking a Husky/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Emsdale (Huntsville).

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emsdale (Huntsville) already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emsdale (Huntsville) breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Husky/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emsdale (Huntsville) paves the way for another one to be saved.
