Be prepared to fall in love with Beans!!
He has a fabulous temperment and is friendly with everyone.
After FHDR found out about Beans's story & his sweet nature, we made plans for him come to NJ to live in a foster home.
When Beans came into the shelter in NC, he did not look very handsome as he had patches of hair loss. So, the nice people at the shelter took him to the vet and had him tested and the results showed that Beans had mange. The good news for Beans is he had Demodectic Mange, which is easily treated and curable and not contagious.
All dogs raised normally by their mothers possess demodectic mange mites, which are transferred from mother to pup via cudding during the first few days of life. Sometimes, like in Beans case, it becomes a problem & most of the time demodectic manges clears up by itself. But FHDR had Beans treated so he heals even faster- and today his skin has healed nicely and now his hair should start to growing in.
Beans is about 12-13 weeks old and he incredibly sweet. If you can look past his temporary hair loss you will see his charm! you have a furever home for this pup, please email us at FureverHomeDogRescue@att.net for an adoption application.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here from NC.
