Here's what the humans have to say about me:
George is a young, adult male Standard American Eskimo Dog. George is an overgrown puppy! George is FULL of energy! George is playful; he LOVES toys, balls, and LOVES belly rubs! George is sweet and "huggable". He'll sit and cuddle with you. He enjoys going for walks, and likes to go for rides in the car. George is very reactive to other animals, particularly those that "give him the business", aka bark at him, get too personal with him, etc. Oh, George! What do we mean by reactive.....he reacts quickly, with a bark back, or a growl, his play can become a bit too aggressive. George is lacking a little confidence with other dogs, so does not seem to know how to handle the "competition". He may be an "Alpha wannabe" too. He is smart, but he needs direction, guidance and continued training. He has had beginner training to start to teach him good social skills and doggie manners. George needs someone who LOVES TO RUN! The more exercise the better! A well exercised dog is a well behaved dog!!!! In other words...A tired dog is a well behaved dog! George is all Eskie, we would prefer to adopt him to an Eskie experienced person, or a smart, strong dog handler. George doesn't seem to like nor understand cats, so no cats is recommended! George will do best to be the only pet in the home! George needs to be his human's total pride and joy! George is a great dog and has the ability to be a superb dog! He needs something to do to burn his energy, a "job", running partner, and he may be a good candidate for Agility Training ......he needs someone who has the time to work with him so he can be the best George ever! George will greatly benefit from a big fenced in yard! George is a very sweet and affectionate boy; he strives to please. He wants his special someone to cherish! George will be very devoted to the one who gives him that attention he craves! George knows commands SIT and DOWN, and when focused COME. He is working on fun things like PAW and ROLL OVER. We're also working on more serious things as STAY and/or PLACE, but stay takes time!
George is a gorgeous Eskie boy and ready for his very own furever home. Putting in the time and devotion for George will have marvelous payoffs of a very delightful, happy and equally devoted furkid!
