Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rawr! My name is Tubs. I think my tawny fur and golden eyes make me look like a lion. Rawr! Don’t be afraid though. I’m not a scary sort. I’m an easy going, gentle lap cat. I’m the type of cat that you can pick up and cuddle. I love to be held and pet and brushed. I’ll gaze at you adoringly with my beautiful gold eyes, and purr up a storm.
I know you’ve heard the saying that the lion is the king of the jungle. That may be true, but I’m a social sort so I’d fit in well with a pride. That pride can consist of other cats, children, or even dogs. It doesn’t matter to me. I’ll be happy as long as I’m member of it.
I used to belong to a pride, but the step-daughter was allergic to me, so I was brought to MaxFund. Now I’m looking for my new, long-term pride.
I’m not very old, but I am rather sedate and calm for my age. However, I’m sure my hunting instincts aren’t buried very deep. I bet if you threw a toy for me, I’d go stalking after it. And I’m sure I would enjoy jumping for a feather on a wand. I hope I can curl on your lap or in a warm sunspot though, after all that exercise.
You know the song, “In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight…”? Well, I like to make up my own words for it, “In my new home, my cozy new home, I will sleep tonight!” What do you think; can this lion be a part of your pride?
