My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Muffin and I am a 4 year old Maltese mix. I am about 10 lbs of super fun tail wagging excitement, once I get to know you. I am shy around new people but within a few hours I have latched on to my foster mom never to let her out of my sight again! I am so grateful to her for springing me from the shelter, it was scary in there for a little girl like me. I like to show her by giving her kisses every chance I get.

I rarely bark, instead I like to sneeze at things that other dogs might be barking at, such as my reflection in the oven or the next door neighbors. My tail has only stopped wagging long enough for me to sleep through the night and started right back up in the morning. I love to be outside, and I love going for walks. Do you? Don't go wasting money on dog treats, I don't like them! None of them! Instead I prefer cheese. I do love to play with soft toys though, I love to chase them if you throw them for me and I might even bring it back to you if you are lucky. I also like to follow my foster mom around the house and dart away when she looks at me hoping that she will chase me.

Loud noises and new people and places are a little bit intimidating for me but my foster mom says that I just need some time to adjust. I hope you like kisses, because I LOVE to give them! She thinks that I would do ok in a home with older respectful children, but a hectic household may be a little too much for me. I wouldn't mind another doggy friend to play with too!
