Hi Everybody!
My name is Bijou and I’m 17 pounds of sweetness and curiosity in the form of a very handsome guy. I’m social, loving, gentle and sweet. In other words I’m a great little guy with a huge heart and a joyful spirit.
Before I became a furkid I was in something called an accident! It was me and this thing called a car. I was lucky because only my shoulder got hurt – but I never, ever complained! When my aunties at BFK heard about me they scooped me up! I did a lot of resting so I could heal. The vet said I was, and am, a real trouper – and Dad agrees! Now I’m all better and starting to learn more about the world. But, believe me, I am already a 1000% loveable furkid!
Right now my most favorite thing in the whole wide world is... you guessed it: cuddling! Mom and Dad agree that I would win the prize for being a cuddlebug. (Aw gee, Mom and Dad. I’m not a bug at all…. I’m a little bichon boy!) They said if you show me a lap I will curl up in it and immediately, and happily, go to sleep. Why I can nap anywhere – on a lap or a blanket – or on the couch! Mom says I also like to rest my head on her shoulder and snuggle for all I’m worth (and that’s a lot!) At night I curl up quietly in my bed and go to sleep and am a good boy all night long.
Dad says I like to go for walks, rides in the car and to run and play chase. I’m good with most other dogs (I don’t really care for my human sister’s bulldog but love others that look like me) and I’m good with cats. I think every day is a great day just to ‘be’ – and I make the most of it!
Mom says I will do best in a home that has another furkid for me to play with and someone who is home most of the day. I’m a great companion and a pretty special little boy.
