Alvin's Story...
Hi! My name is Alvin! I'm a pint-sized ball of joy eagerly awaiting my furever home. I love to play with anything I can get my paws on. And I like to eat, too. I have a lot of energy and I'm always on the go. Curiosity is my middle name. I'm constantly learning new things and how to tackle challenges. My ideal furever home will provide me with a loving and nurturing environment. Surely, I'll entertain my new family for hours and hours with my kitten antics. But when I grow up to be an adult kitty, I want to make sure my furever family still loves me. My new furever family has to promise me to love me always, even a decade from now!

Alvin is current on his vaccinations, parasite-free, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. You can find Alvin at Petsmart located at 57 Route 23 South in Wayne, NJ. We have scheduled adoption hours on Fridays from 6 pm - 9 pm, Saturdays from 11 am - 6 pm and on Sundays from 12 am - 6 pm. For more information or to make a special appointment to adopt, please call Donna at 201-873-7533 or e-mail startkayne@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
