Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If cuddling were a science, Superstar would have a PhD! This sweet boy comes from Ohio and he spent awhile in a kennel before joining our family. You would think this boy was making up for lost time, however, because he loves life and humans too.
This sweet pup is not your typical beagle. He has super soft, puppy like fur AND it’s red! He has a white belly and some of the biggest paws you’ve ever seen. We think he might be part basset because of his shape. He has short legs, a long body, and big paws. He is surprisingly agile and often jumps up for doggie kisses when he’s happy. He is also unique because he seems to like to carry things like paper plates and bowls. Could there be some golden retriever in there too?
Superstar is also not your typical beagle because he does not have an intense prey drive and he’s not food driven. Some days he’ll even walk away from breakfast or dinner because he’s full, which is certainly not beagle like! If you are looking for an AROOOO however, he does have that! He barks at other dogs on walks or at events and when he wants to play. He’s about 29 lbs. and medium energy.
This dog has been pure joy to have in our house. He’s sweet natured and cuddly and would make a wonderful family addition. Won’t you please consider our “Star?”
Foster note: Star would be good as an only dog or with a doggy playmate. He’s not the alpha at our home. He’d love a fenced in yard, but would be ok without one as long as he gets walked every day.
