Hi People!
I’m Ronnie- and I’m a handsome and happy Bichon boy about 3 or 4 who loves to wag his tail, is always smiling and loves everything! And I want everyone to know it because Life is Good! I love my foster family! I love car rides! I love other dogs. And guess what? I love to play! Dad says I’m a great guy full of love and ‘likeability.’ (Can you tell he appreciates me?)
Mom says that I am very cute, have a great temperament and am affectionate. I’m also curious about many things, smart and eager to please! She says I’m already housebroken (and that’s no typo!), have figured out some commands and know how to spin. (I like to do that when you come home and when it’s time for dinner!)
I have a doggy foster brother who is teaching me all kinds of things. I have learned how much fun it is, for example, to shop with Dad at Home Depot! You see, Dad made this really neat thing that fits in the basket so we don’t slide around. Since he’s always fixing things we have to go for rides to Home Depot fairly often. So when Dad says ‘Boys, do you want to go for a ride?” I hop into the car as fast as I can! I can’t wait to help Dad find what he needs at the store. (I always watch him very attentively so I know what Dad will need for his next project :>))
Dad says I never met a toy I didn’t like, especially the squeaky ones. I like to carry them around and show them to Mom and Dad. I have lots of favorites already. I also recently started to play a new game called “Fetch.” It goes like this: you throw a toy and I run to fetch it. I then bring it to you and get very, very close – then I run away with the toy! (Mom says I tease her and that this game is just hilarious. I told her it’s lots of fun and I figured it out all by myself!)
I'm great with people (I am gentle and enjoy being petted) and happy to be a part of what's going on. I'm also good being groomed. I have this amazingly thick coat of hair that is plush and luxurious, (The silly people at the shelter cut the hair on my head so it's growing back nicely now and soon I'll have a bichon face to match my bichon body.) And if you are a cuddler and snuggler you will think I'm about the softest and bestest little guy to cuddle with in the world. I'm a lot like a little lamb (but much better behaved!)
I would love to have my own family, maybe a doggy brother or sister to play with and a person or two or three to snuggle with. (I’m so good that I get to sleep in the big people’s bed where I don’t move all night long!) I especially like my Dad so a Dad who is home a lot and likes to ‘tinker’ would be my kind of guy! In return, I will do my best to keep everyone smiling, feeling important and loved. (That will be easy for me because whatever family adopts me will be my whole world.)
So if you are looking for a best friend who will provide lots of playful moments and enjoys a good cuddle, then I am the dog for the job. And I am ready for my life’s next assignment.
