Hunter (& Freddy)'s Story...
HUNTER is only 1- 1 1/2 yrs ols and the sweetest kitten! If there was a kitten that is "too loving"...he'd be the one! He is super affectionate...literally throwing himself at you...seeking to give his kitty kisses. Hunter also relaxes by suckling/kneading on soft material including what you may be wearing. He is a handsome needy little guy, mostly medium/short-haired with a feathery tail & a loud purr. He gets along well with other cats (& dogs) and is seeking a home where he'll have another kitten/young cat companion...he's best friends with "Freddy" and they would love to remain together. Hunter comes already microchipped, too! Updated 1/6/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter (& Freddy), a Arlington Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
