Hi People!
I’m Beckham, a playful and gorgeous three year old Bichon boy who loves other dogs and people – both big and small! I’m sweet, loving and inquisitive -- and want everyone to know that Life is Good! I love my foster family and their furkids! I love car rides! And guess what? I love to play! Especially a game called ‘Chase me.’ Why I even get my Mom to do that when she least expects it. Whee, what fun!
Mom says that I have the cutest face, am very smart and that I cock my head when she talks to me. She also says that I love to please. I’m still learning new things but I already know to go outside and respond to my name. (Dad says I actually come when anyone calls me. He says his own fur kids don’t do that so he hopes I will influence them.) I’m learning lots of human words like: ‘sit’, ‘stop’ and ‘wait’. And I like showing people how much I appreciate this wonderful world we live in.
Mom says I’m friendly, happy, exhuberant (I don't know exactly what that means but she says it's good) playful and never aggressive. I’m also patient and understanding. Why I even understand why my grumpy doggy foster brother doesn’t want to play with me… or well I think I do (but I keep trying to get him to change his mind. That’s where my patience comes in.)
Dad says I’m a ‘man sized bichon' (about 20 pounds) who likes to cuddle and give doggy kisses. He says I'm as sweet as I am handsome - and so good that I get to sleep in the Big People's bed (yay!)!
I would love to have an adult or two to share my joy and love, and a doggy brother or sister to play with. In return, I will do my best to keep everyone smiling and feeling important and loved. (That will be easy for me because whatever family adopts me will be my whole world.)
